Delhi

We arrive in Delhi in the early hours and thankfully are able to check into our rooms straight away and have breakfast but then the intensive sightseeing schedule begins. First a look at the old city, and then to India Gate. Lots of other tourists were there, mostly Indians, enjoying a day out. It's an arch on a roundabout like the arc de triomphe but the roundabout is a whole lot bigger - really it's a circular park. In the distance, the presidential palace.
