Drumsticks

Catching up with things today and school Easter service so I didn't go far. The drumstick primula are growing well in the garden just now so I thought I'd take a few shots of them.

I used a letterbox crop for this one which seemed to go against the grain when the subject was round. I tried a square and a 3:4 but in the end I liked this the best because it was a little different. The others just looked like blobs in the picture.

I like the small drops of water on the petals from last nights rain but maybe they catch the eye too much.
