Pussy Willow Flower

Big relief earlier today - one of my pupils passed her driving test at the 5th attempt. Despite all the failures she has kept fairly chipper - and was really pleased to have passed with less attempts than her brother!

Looking around the garden I saw that the flowers on our willow tree are really beginning to open up - so I brought one inside to photograph as the wind was picking up a bit - hopefully it will blow some of this fog away.

I used natural daylight from the window - with the camera tripod mounted - and used manual focus for the first time on the Panny camera.

Day off tomorrow so maybe a glass or three to celebrate test pass....
