Why does the rain fall from up above ?

It certainly rained a lot today but it was lovely to see the garden getting a good soaking. The sun has come out and I managed to pop in the garden and grab a picture of the blossom coming out on the pear tree covered in raindrops. We have not had any fruit from this tree even though we have bought another one hoping for pollination. But last year we had a late frost so no fruit.
The other trees are just about to burst into bloom too.
Glad to say that Ken has a girlfriend. Both Pheasants have been in the garden today but the female is a lot more timid.
The mouse has been running about too and more siskins have arrived.
Two more sleeps and then my Mum and Dad arrive :)
