Art journaling and collage.

It was Nabakov's Despair at Book Group today, we were all a bit mixed about it. I haven't actually finished yet and am finding it difficult to work up the enthusiasm to bother! I had thought that my lack of sleep and general confusion were just making it really hard for me to concentrate on it so it was a bit of a relief to find everyone else felt pretty similar. It's an interesting concept that really should have been condensed down into a short story - long dull pointless rambling punctuated with some really good bits, but they were too few and far between to properly hold your interest. At times chilling, at times funny, at times really bloody boring!

After BG I wandered down to Stockbridge to meet up with Irene and had a lovely afternoon/evening of chats and dinner and wine.

I came home to catch up on my jewellery orders but ended up doodling and collaging instead :)
