Bodega blipping!

A little early for too many customers, but on a damp and miserable day… well, what else is a girl supposed to do?

The smell (of muscatel, in particular) in these old bars is intoxicating in itself – and very warming! There are few frills and fewer comforts, but the aged barrels, the smoke-stained décor (not that you’re allowed smoke in these places anymore) and the enduring, white-coated staff make Málaga’s bodegas very special places indeed. And on a wet and windy morning, it’s nice to see a little sunshine in your glass (a very small glass – it’s not yet lunchtime after all!)
