Clearing up the mess

There is a gang of starlings and they create havoc when they arrive! They don't seem to be able to access the seeds from the feeder like all the others, because of their weight and size. I watched three of them work as a team and they swung the feeder enough to knock a lot of the seed to the ground where they could then get it. What a mess!

The feeder is now empty, again! I can't keep up with it. I've told them all that they have to clear up the mess before I put any more out. These two were dutifully having a go. That's life, having to clear up after others!
