Ducks on the Tees

Whilst being hot and sunny down South it was misty and cold up North and we were visiting for the weekend. We went for a walk on the River Tees path and saw this pair of ducks.
The path was well defined and the flood line from the recent weather was still clear. All the houses had flood gates to protect their gardens.
