New plymouth Port as seen from Paritutu Rock!

Beautiful morning for a climb up New plymouths Iconic Paritutu rock. Again this was way out of my comfort zone as Im usually paralysed by a fear of heights but my urge to take good photos has pushed me to do it. I would usually find this very challenging! If you have climbed this rock before you will know its not for the faint hearted! The track near the top is near vertical and you have to use a chain to pull yourself up. I almost gave up as I got good shots half way up but I turned around and kept going! YAY!
