Castlerigg in the haze

After dropping Sophie off at Penrith on Monday morning we meandered back to Keswick via the scenic route. Thsi largely involved me craning around inside the car searching for lone trees that were looking for a modelling career. We landed at Castlerigg at about 9:30 to find it uncharacteristically deserted - even by photographers. After a brief shoot we headed back into town to regoup prior to a return trip to Buttock later in the day!
