Mother's Day

I was treated to breakfast in bed this morning as it was Mother's Day. It turned out a bit messy though with all four of us on the bed trying to eat scones with butter and jam. Needless to say the jam ended up everywhere and all the bedding is now in the wash!

Chris took the boys to visit Granny and Grandad for a few hours. I stayed home to prepare the dinner for my family who all came round late afternoon. Our new oven was put to the test and coped admirably. Roast beef dinner for 13 people successfully made and polished off.

Time for feet up now and a glass of wine.
