Still learning what the new camera can do.

Today I was playing with the zoom, and one of the ships at anchor got the Blip. Close runner up was an eider duck (had fun with that as it bobbed up & down in the swell).

I reckon the ship is the Navigator Capricorn waiting to berth at Braefoot (where the Exxon terminal is). A 20,500 LPG tanker built in 2008 and Liberia registered.

Here’s what the operator claims...

“Our semi-refrigerated vessels are built to carry cargoes at a maximum pressure of about 5.4 bars, and at a minimum temperature of -48°C (for propylene). They incorporate bi-lobe Type C storage tanks, and have the capability to load or discharge gas cargoes at both refrigerated and pressurised shore facilities. These vessels are best used in trades whereby the customer requires the optimal solution between economies of scale and vessel capability in meeting differing cargo temperatures.”
