Summerlee

This afternoon we went to Summerlee Industrial Museum with Lucy. We were hoping to play at the great playpark there, but turned up to find it closed.

It has been closed for a month for the arrival of a barge, which was being lowered into the canal as we arrived today. Great timing as we got to watch it all happening.

We still had good fun looking around inside and having a ride on the tram.

Tonight Chris and I had a lovely meal out at Esca in the Merchant City. It was so nice being out for a meal just the two of us, and enjoying a few drinks together too. We must make more effort to do it more often.
