Afro-licious!

I was at Eversheds in Leeds today at a social media seminar - really interesting stuff, and it gave me a good few ideas to implement back at the ranch.

Anyway, on the way back to the office I passed Paperchase on the edge of the train station - couldn't resist ducking in for a wee peek, and I spotted this fabulous card. I'd love to be able to make stuff like this!

A bonkers afternoon - how dare I be away from the office for a few hours??? - and then I met up with my lovely friend Chris at the White Rose shopping centre. While I had a much needed cuppa, Chris sat and opened her Christmas presents (very late, I know, but I think I did ok) and then we went for a bit of a wander round. Chris was very restrained, but I splurged £22 on a handbag and a scarf with multicoloured elephants on it :-)

We went back to Debenhams and had a bite to eat, then left to go our separate ways. Chris is one of the warmest, loveliest people I know and I love spending time with her :-)

Home in 45 minutes and a nice cuppa - vanilla lemon cinnamon tea - and I've had a good day.
