Freight car running gear detail

This is one of the class 3000 boxcars I recently weathered. Thought that I would blip a photo of the under floor detail. This is a PBL ready to run car. Identical to the kits I put together from many many parts. The difference is that this kit is dead on and has no mistakes like mine. Every part from the original car is here - brake lines, transom rods, brake cylinder, etc etc. Granted you don't see this stuff when you are running the railroad, but knowing it is all there somehow makes the experience more fulfilling. Weird huh. PBL also makes ready to run gondolas and stock cars. All come painted and lettered and ready for weathering. When you consider that the ready to run boxcar cost like $80 in the box, it makes my labor cost per hour spent on the ones I made very cheap. Like $.10 an hour!
