Twisted Magnolia

I went to the Macy's Flower Show with Mia and Connie today. The flowers were amazing, but the lighting was atrocious. Combine that with the crowds and my only hope for a shot was a macro of something above my head (to escape the shadows from all of the people.) Someday I will learn how to overcome all of these obstacles. I love magnolias and wish they would flourish here. I love the way this one twists. It's past it's peak in life, it's body isn't quite what it use to be, but it is still so beautiful.
