Had an impromptu visit from an Edinburgh friend so took her into the centre when she arrived to do the standard Milan site seeing (Duomo, Vittorio Emmanuelle, La Scala etc) before heading towards Navigli, picking up a pre-aperitivo gelato en route to meet another course mate. After aperitivi we headed to le colonne to meet more people for drinks and then finally ended up at our new favourite place in the middle of piazza 24 maggio, slowly gathering more people on the way. We sat outside this time which really nice, full of mini palm trees and comfy sofas. Not bad for my local!
