Shenzhen: Delay

Biggest storm for 30 years here in southern China. I'm just amazed we managed to sneak out (fly out) of Shenzhen with only a 3-hour delay.

Also very thankful to China Southern airlines for keeping us safe on the ground until they could get us through to Guilin. I can understand why people get frustrated by delays (as a couple of our fellow passengers expressed with great emotion) but the alternative is the distinct possibility of falling out of the sky. Best to be grounded.
