Healthy eating again.
Now the weather has warmed up a bit (shhh I can dream) I am back on my home made smoothies again.
Healthy eating is the only way I can lose weight due to my poor mobility and pain levels.
I increase my fruit, salad/veg and protein intake and reduce my fat and carbs.
Todays smoothie is:
. 1 banana
. Half a small pot of fat free natural yoghurt
. A selection of frozen summer berries including dark sweet cherries (approx 200grms)
. 200ml of water to blend*
. A shot of Acai berry juice.
. Honey to sweeten
Makes 1 pint.
*substitute half the water for fruit juice and leave out the honey for an alternative taste.
