Hawkshead, Lake District
Back Blip
Today was a travelling day to Braitwaite, Nr Keswick in the Lake District for the start of our week with Lakeland Photographic Holidays. (LPH) The weather was amazing! A little snow had fallen a couple of nights previously and added a real sparkle to the mountain tops. After a pub lunch near Hawkshead, we detoured to the Wrynose Pass..... an interesting single track road, infact the steepest in England with a 1:3 gradient. As I was driving, I was relieved that we did not meet any traffic!
