A Visionary Journey

A walk on Via Caracciolo, the promenade of Naples, is a must on sunny days to enjoy the warmth and beauty of the landscape!
The name of this wide road reminds the Admiral Francesco Caracciolo, hero of the Neapolitan Republic, who was hanged in 1799 by Nelson to the mast of his ship and thrown into the waters of the Gulf of Naples, whose body was picked up and re-emerged on the coast of Santa Lucia.
This road is considered one of the world's most beautiful coastal and extends up to Mergellina with panoramic views over the city and the hills of Vomero and Posillipo.
Is separated from the sea only by a few artificial reefs, which have taken the place of the ancient beaches.
