Love or Friendship?

Last night on my walk up the hill, these two came to visit me. I blipped the sunset so today I went back to see the donkeys, unsure if they'd come up to the fence again.

They did.

I have no idea whether this is love or friendship - and no idea whether these are jacks or jennys or one of each. But they're really sweet.
