Back into action.

At both work and on the football field.

A late awakening due to only having a meeting at 11am today. Awoke to torrential rain! More than I had experienced in my whole trip to the UK.

Sorted out my emails and a bit of my office then headed on site for my meeting with a supplier rep. Afterwards picked up lunch for the wife and I and headed home for the rest of the day. The rain had cleared up and it was a bright, sunny SD day as per usual.

Watched the utd game for lunch then did a few more bits and bobs before calling it a day.

Footy tonight (blipped). Down in the C league once more. A nearly new squad. The manager has recruited all of his Mexican workers to play. They are a skillful and young/fit bunch like we normally play against. Was also a bonus to have 9 playing and boy did I need the subs this week.

All started off with a tap in from 2 yards which I managed to chip over the goal. Out of sorts what with lack of exercise, over eating and drinking and the jet lag. Still - with these excuses in mind they stopped the scoring at 11-1 to us and it was many more than that. I wasted a ton of chances, but made up with one goal. Not bad seeing as we had lost last week 11-8. Think we should go back up to B based upon that performance.
