Found this perfume scented message by my bedside. I wonder who left it? It's nice to be loved.

Had a good day today. Went in on my day off to cover Year 3 and ended up in Year 5. Had forgotten how much I enjoy teaching maths at that level -
I think I enjoyed the investigation as much as the children did. Plus one little lad who can sometimes be a tad difficult was good as gold and a genuine pleasure to teach.

I am looking forward to being a 'proper' teacher next term. Can't wait to make the desk mine and stop living out of my bag. Excited about our topic - 'Plant it, Package it, Eat it' - science and DT - can't be bad. Looking forward to really getting to know the children (although I know one pretty well already!) and hopefully expanding their minds a little.

I need to blip more- I'd forgotten how therapeutic this is.
