Grey Lady, Bird Of The Day

It has been a beautiful day here in Essex and I've enjoyed my togging.

I went out with the camera before breakfast and got a nice backlit wren. Later on I got buzzards, chiff-chaffs and a black-cap but I was delighted when I spotted the female grey-wagtail, nicely lit on a disused glasshouse ridge.

Bugs have been out in force too. I've been shooting bee-flies, hover-flies, butterflies, midges and spiders. April 1st and the field season is in full-swing. :)
