Shadow Selfie

Not sure if we invented shadow selfies - probably not but it felt like we did today on our walk. Me and Pops again in the lovely sunshine. We were looking to capture the reflection of the canal on the canal bridge roof but we thought we should muscle in on the act too.

So this is me and Pops and out shadow selfie.

No change here at all. Mom is peaceful and calm and still here. Each new day is a gift and a curse. She would so hate to be like she is now.

We are finding we are still laughing together and also crying together. Having the family here helps us all cope even if us siblings do drive each other up the wall sometimes. Had to tell brother and Pops off last night for making my sister cry. They were being mean to her and carried the joke on too far. In the face of such sadness we all fall in to our family roles naturally. But of course we are missing our balance and calming influence in the shape of Mons.
