Tough flowers

These yellow crocuses are flowering bravely despite the cold winds and night frost - and the shock of seeing many of their friends eaten by deer!

To try and preserve the few remaining (and the tulips coming up) I've spread ram's wool here and there at the edge of the garden - it's supposed to deter the deer. Hope it works!
