Feathers

This is one of a pair of ducks.

They have returned to the ornamental pond outside my sons flat.

Last year this pair had 13 ducklings.

They raised 12 of them successfully.

They returned a few days ago.

I am hoping that ducklings will appear fairly soon.

Meanwhile mummy and daddy duck are keeping themselves in tip top condition.

This is very safe place.

No predators.

However the ducks are very tame.

I do worry about potential harm from humans.

But many people in the surrounding flats are looking out for them.

And so is the concierge.

So fingers crossed.
