At Home: You scratch my back ......

I always admire a horses way of going about the world. Horses always have a good social system going on. They have a well organised herd, with some one in charge. They work out a way that everyones needs are met, despite how they rank in the order of things.

This group here is made up of a youngster, Chance. An older boy Blue, and Jack. Jack and Blue have known each other for years, and probably already know each others favourite scratching places. This, I guess helps you score a little hight in the herd, if you already know to groom someone else.

They say, when horses mill about like this at the end of the day, their heartbeats synchronise to a similar rhythm . Its certainly a calm end to your day, to stand in a herd of milling horses. Milling......x
