Lancaster Canal
I took my little X10 with me today on an excursion to Lancaster Royal Infirmary, to see my Oncologist.
Seven weeks ago I had a cancerous tumour removed from the bowel and after two weeks in hospital was discharged with what I was told, a 98% certainty of a total cure. Today the news was even better, the Oncologist said it was 100%, can't be better than that:) No guarantee it could never reappear though but let's face it...who lives forever? (g)
So, delighted with the good news I wandered round to the Lancaster canal, behind the hospital and the huge chimney you see here serves the hospital laundry.
