Was up & out early this morning to visit my Mum as a pre-Mothers Day thing with being away next weekend, delivering gifts & also for her birthday.
As so frequently these days, Alex & I departed ways with yet another row. It's all very tiresome - just continuous issues over things... "you said this, you said that". The latest thing is that I'm "mean" & say hurtful things.
Despite the complete lack of malice on mine (& Ferguson's) part, it seems like anything that said makes the "non permanent residents" of this household feel unwelcome.
All that said, the pictured person continues, throughout all this, to keep my spirits up & today wasn't any different.
We left in time to attend a (yet another) birthday party but unfortunately the turmoil of another tormented individual prevented us getting there.
A man leapt from a bridge on the motorway & caused a 3 hour delay.
I know that we all face difficulties & pain in our lives, mine particularly recently, but nothing is so bad that it's worth ending your life so traumatically.
I was troubled over this poor guy for the remainder of the day, and almost made my issues feel trivial.
