Elusive

One of the many delights of a Cooriedog walk is the skylark choir. It is a wonderfully joyous sound.

They sing from way up there. On many days, I can't see them because they are so high. And when I do see them, they are still high and constantly moving. In any shot I have taken, the skylark ends up looking like a dirty spot on the camera lens.

However, this morning one was sitting on top of a fence post. It was early so the light wasn't particularly good. That was why it was probably still on the fence post. It was an opportunity which I had to take.

It is also a lovely fence post.
