Heinerfest

The "Heinerfest" is a fun fair which occupies the town center of Darmstadt for four days. The world seems to revolve around it... Even the schools do close earlier on monday, so the kids get a last chance to visit.

Personally, I could very well do without it, but my kids wanted to go, of course. So we had a ride on the big wheel, ate candy floss, shot with the air gun and so on. (We did not ride the swing-boat, part of which you see here, I don't think I would survive that one...).
