Reward or bribe?

I'm not sure which.
We had to visit IKEA this afternoon as I had a few things to return and a few bits to pick up. Dex was so good and very patient but I'm not sure if it was because I told him he could have an ice cream when we got to the end of the shop or because he actually quite likes shopping!
