Scottie Dug

Last day on Islay and a great time was had by all. Sampled far too many whiskies and purchased too many bottles. Some to keep and some to drink.

We sailed from Port Askaig which gave some great views of Jura and I even got some interesting pictures of the crab fisherman sorting their catch. But this little chap caught my eye as he lay about in the daffodils, there were two dogs which I am sure laze about all day watching the visitors and natives get on and off the ferry to the mainland.

What a weekend and I will definitely be back to visit the remainder of the distilleries. Only Ardbeg, Kilchoman and bunnahabhain to go.
