late night

we've been trying to perfect irish coffee for a while now. needless to say, this wasn't our best attempt (i suspect the glasses were too small) but this was towards the end of a very nice evening with friends. it went on longer than expected and involved a bottle of brandy and some late night putting the world to rights. it was fun and i still managed to fix the networking and the scanner and protest about climate change the next day in spite of an aching head. good times!
