An early start to watch the Hibees play in the Edinburgh derby. A game which, if won, would see our neighbours' relegation confirmed. An opportunity too good to pass up? You would think. However, this is Hibs.

As a die hard, life long Hibee, Leither, season ticket holder, merchandise buyer and sometimes travelling fan, I've seen it all. I'm used to the defeats, heartache and bottle crashing performances.

The difference now is, we can't blame the players, they are good on paper and we go through enough of them. The same can be said for managers. We certainly can't blame the fans who put their hand in their pocket all the time, travel the country, sing, encourage and love their club.
