100 years

My father was born in North Shields 100 years ago today. I don't feel old enough to have such a close link with a century ago, but there it is. I played the organ in Simonside this morning, where he spent part of a very disfunctional childhood, and shop in Jarrow where he had his first job in a butcher's shop. The photo was taken in 1955, one of the earliest I have of him.
