Queens Road, Leicester

Went to the optician's this morning to sort out a new pair of glasses. They're quite different to my old ones and have a graduated purple frame. As I was trying them on that poem that begins 'When I am old I shall wear purple' came to my mind. I have to wait over a week for them to be made up. Expensive....

This picture was taken looking across the road from the optician's. I used to work quite close to Queens Road and this bar has always had lots of tubs of plants outside. I don't remember there being this many though.
