Quirky Prague - John Lennon Wall

From John Lennon's 1980 murder until the communists' 1989 downfall this was where activists defied the antipop authorities by scribbling Beatles lyrics and peace slogans. Lennonova zed got whitewashed in 1998 but today it's once again a wall of psychedelic graffiti and on the tourist trail!
It is in an area known as quirky Prague with art installations and a lovely park where people were sitting out and enjoying the warm sunshine ---- and the inevitable beers!
