Mothers Day Service

The village church hosted a special Mothers Day service. The vicar judged it just right. There were tambourines and drums for the children to play to join in with the songs. Then the posies were blessed and a little bunch of daffodils was given to each Mum by their children. It was a short ceremony so that the children didn't get bored.

Baby Florence was fascinated by the proceedings.

Whatever your religion, or not, it was a charming way to start Mothers Day.
