Striped-neck Terrapin
The swans were doing their early morning glide around the lake to check that all was well in their world, no pesky intruders.
This guy was totally oblivious to the swans passing by a few metres away, all he was interested in was getting some heat from the very watery sun that appeared occasionally from behind the thick grey cloud that pretty much filled the sky this morning. By the time i passed by again forty minutes later, the swans and terrapin were no where to be seen, elusive just as the sun seems to be today.
