The hills have halos in Gods country

I can't say this often enough... these mountains look different every day. Today there was a single cloud hanging over The Remarkables, this was taken in the midlle of the evening as shadows rose to meet the clouds. The sun is setting quicly these days, you can almost watch the light disappear from the hills. I look up every few minutes between the houses and trees on the way to work and darkness creeps up a little more with every glance.

Autumn is swinging into action, leaves are changing colour or covering the ground in the parks and soon the clocks "fall backwards" to give a little more light on my way to work. Temperatures are generally lower but warmer than last week, that said, the fire is on and Adam is chopping more wood as I type this. Time to open the wine methinks.
