There is a line in the movie Say Anything where John Cusack's character says, "The rain on my car is like a baptism. The new me." Hm, curious how this could fit my day. It's Monday, first of all, and Mondays are always another chance. A fresh start. The option to grow and do and be. It's like the first day of a new year or a new page on the calendar. Another beginning, just as we have a chance at a new beginning every day.

Today the rain moved in, and I'm still in my pajamas at 11am without having lifted a finger towards the work that I have been offered. This is not a good sign of motivation.

Now is the time. Today is the day.
