Moore Cove Falls

A break from the Lent Poems today.

We were going to drive on The Blue Ridge Parkway today but it was closed off due to fallen trees from the high winds we had here last night. So, instead we went for a lovely walk with Jo and Erin in the Pisgah Forest to see one of the many beautiful waterfalls in this area. This one is called Moore Cove. We took a flask of coffee and some delicious salted caramel cookies and enjoyed a delightful little break with the music of the falls in the background.
