caught in a flash - and downed in one big gulp - by the great blue

they are amazing creatures - they stalk in the water - then plunge in - head first - coming up with the fish - their necks expand - the fish then go down in one fell swoop - and all is over in a matter of minutes - with the blue ready to go fishing again - it is an incredible spectacle of nature - which i never dreamed of being able to see first hand - yet i've gotten to experience it at my little lake - that for some reason - several blues like to visit every spring and summer - such a treat - never to be taken for granted - i'm thrilled to be able to capture it - it sort of makes me feel like i'm at one with the universe and nature - and let me tell you - it always makes for...
