From a crawl to a run

Today was my last day in Sperlonga and I was sad to go.

11am wake up call and on the beach by 1. The sun was really strong today but luckily I didn't get any sunburn! SPF 50 is a real life saver sometimes.

I also did something I never, ever do today. I went in the ocean. Well, technically speaking it was a "sea" (Tyrrhenian) but those are just minor details. It was a really big deal for me seeing as how the ocean is one of my biggest fears. It was cold at first but then it was so fun. It was nice and shallow with little tiny waves. I was happy.

We caught the bus back to the train station later in the afternoon and got back to Rome around 8. After I finally got all the sand out of my hair I FaceTimed my mom and then studied a little.

Back to the ole grind tomorrow.
