My boy and Molly

Today, being Mothering Sunday, started with a trip to church. As is tradition at the church we attend, all the mums were given a little posy of flowers to go home with. The mini Pinks went up to get me my daffodils, which was fab, and they are very pretty. My Goddaughter's brother also brought me a posy, which was very sweet. It's a tradition that I love, and I remember getting the posies when I was little to give to my mum and to Grandma who at the time was in the choir at church.

After church, we popped home for some homework to be done, and then headed to Grandma's for lunch. Bless my mum, she had made us a lovely dinner, even though technically it was her day off too! Still, I am very grateful!

We took Miss Molly for a walk at Alton Water later in the afternoon. We didn't go that far, the mini pinks were tired quickly. But it was lovely to be out in the fresh air and hear the birds singing. It's been a lovely day.
