It's All About Mum's

Mothering Sunday.

Rugby training for Joshua which involved a match between the U13's and the U16's, bit of a difference in size!! But the youngsters won.

Home to collect Samantha and off to Sainsbury's to get flowers/chocolates/CD/card/coconut etc.

Clare got up after four hours sleep, opened her prezzies and we set off for the Norway Inn for our Mothers Day lunch. I have to say I'm a little disappointed, it was a set menu that wasn't available to view beforehand. Whilst spicy cauliflower soup, marinated chicken with alioli or a tiana of salmon/prawns/crab as starters might appeal to adults not a lot there for young children or teenagers. Mothers Day is about children treating their Mums (Dad pays) but if there is nothing for the kids you won't go back and we whilst we'll go back for a bar meal sadly the Norway Inn is no longer a 'special occasion venue for us.
The evening was week-end Telegraph catch up time and the first of the two Hunger Games DVD's (courtesy of Joshua)
