Mothers' Day

12 years ago I gave this plant to my mother on Mothers' Day (or Mothering Sunday as it originally was called when people in service were allowed to visit their mothers back home). Four months later my mother passed and this plant was returned to me; it might look a little sorry for itself, but it has produced one white flower twice in the years gone by and it is still very much alive.
